Dr. Ornesha Watson is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Bristol Myers Squibb and a graduate of the University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy in Hartford Connecticut, where she earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Dr. Watson is the recipient of several awards and academic distinctions including; induction in Epsilon Alpha Chapter of

Dr. Watson is the recipient of several awards and academic distinctions including; induction in Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Rho Chi Pharmaceutical Honor Society, the Academy for Managed Care Pharmacy Award for Outstanding Professionalism and Leadership and The Walgreens Diversity and Inclusion Excellence Award Scholarship.

As such her approach to pharmacy is driven by her diverse training here in the US at institutions such as Lenox Hill Hospital and the Center for Dis
Dr. Watson is an ardent believer that best practices for health and wellness can be found all around our globe with each unique culture offering added insight to humanity’s overall wellness. As such her approach to pharmacy is driven by her diverse training here in the US at institutions such as Lenox Hill Hospital and the Center for Disease Control, as well as, her international experiential training in the United Arab Emirates at Gulf Medical University, Thumbay Hospital. Her global perspective is further heightened being a daughter of the Jamaican soil and her multifaceted life experiences having lived and studied abroad in India, Switzerland, Taiwan and Cuba.
Prior to pharmacy school, Dr. Watson earned a Master of Science degree in International Relations at New York University and subsequently served as a Communications Officer in the Executive Office of the Secretary General of the United Nations. Her work at the United Nations was focused on sustainable energy access and its impact on global health challenges.
